Investigators in the search for missing Hawkins County teenager Hayleigh Wilson said new information suggests she might be in Wythe County, Virginia.

They believe Wilson left her home with convicted sex offender Benjamin Shook. She’s been missing for almost two weeks.

Investigators with the Smyth County Sheriff’s Office said someone reported seeing the pair on June 29th near a camp off of Ceder Springs Road.

Meanwhile, on July 1st, a possible sighting near Rural Retreat, Virginia was reported to the Wythe County Sheriff’s Office.

The U.S. Marshals Service believes Shook and Wilson may still be in Wythe County and are asking everyone who lives in Wythe County to be on the lookout.

If you think you see Shook or Wilson, call 1-877-WANTED-2 or 9-1-1.
