(WJHL) – About a million and a half people in the Carolinas and Virginia are under evacuation orders this morning ahead of hurricane Florence.
It may potentially become one of the most catastrophic hurricanes to hit the Eastern seaboard in decades.
The national weather service is calling this a “life-threatening” storm.
Here in our region, some hotels are lending a helping hand. On Facebook, “Visit Kingsport” says it’s welcoming evacuees who need a safe place to stay.
