Greeneville man faces DUI, drug charges after deputies find him slumped over in running vehicle

WASHINGTON COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a Greeneville man on driving under the influence and drug charges, after he was found inside a running vehicle slumped over the steering wheel Friday.

According to a WCSO news release, deputies were called to the 500 block of Big Limestone Road in reference to a welfare check on a man sitting inside a vehicle slumped over.

When the arrived, deputies located Eric Price, 41, slumped over the steering wheel parked in the road.

Deputies were able to get Price to respond and exit his vehicle.

According to the release, Price was found in possession of methamphetamine and a large amount of cash.

Price was arrested and charged with schedule I drug violations for resale, simple possession and driving under the influence.

He was scheduled to be arraigned in Sessions Court Monday at 1:30 p.m.
