GREENE COUNTY, TN (WJHL) – One of the four Greene County teens involved in a manhunt to South Carolina in April following the murder of a Greene County man, pleaded guilty in Greene County Juvenile Court on Tuesday.
Shelby Riley, the first of the four accused in connection with the murder of Robert Blanchard, pleaded guilty to theft and accessory after the fact to second-degree murder in Juvenile Court.
She was reportedly given probation until age 19.
The court also imposed conditions and restrictions on her, which include no contact with the other co-defendants and that she must testify in the case if called to do so.
Liam Lawlor was also charged with accessory after the fact. His trial was scheduled for Tuesday in Juvenile Court.
The state filed paperwork to try the other co-defendants, Zachary Blanchard and Daniel Birchfield- Richards, as adults. A transfer hearing was re-scheduled for July 10 at 10:30 a.m. for Zachary Blanchard.
Birchfield-Richards’ transfer hearing was scheduled for June 26 at 1 p.m.
