Elizabethton Police Department officers arrested two men Saturday on numerous drug charges, following an on-going investigation by the police department’s vice unit.
According to an EPD news release, Lester L. Butz, Jr., 56, 741 Well St., and Bradley J. Holsclaw, 30, 304 McQueen St., both of Elizabethton, were arrested.
Butz, who was located at his home, had an outstanding indictment out of Carter County Criminal Court and was charged with five counts of sale of schedule II drugs. He was taken to the Carter County Jail.
Holsclaw was located at a local business and had an outstanding indictment out of Carter County Criminal Court for five counts of sale of schedule II narcotics.
During his arrest, officers found Holsclaw in possession of multiple plastic baggies which contained a white, rock-like substance believed to be crack cocaine.
He also had a small plastic bag of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.
Holsclaw was charged with possession of a schedule II for resale, simple possession and also faces charges because he was found in possession of narcotics within 1,000 feet of a school.Copyright 2015 WJHL. All rights reserved.
