KATTSKILL BAY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Several crews have responded to Fischers Marina for a report of a multiple boat fire and explosion.
Around 6:52 p.m. Tuesday, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a boat explosion just off of Fischers Marina. The marina is located on the east side of Lake George.
According to authorities, there are reports of injuries at the marina.
At least two people were taken to hospitals: one was taken to Glens Falls Hospital and the other was taken to another hospital by helicopter. Authorities said the owner of the boat was badly burned.
The extent of their injuries is unknown.
Authorities are still on scene investigating.
