KNOXVILLE (WATE) – Burt Reynolds and ABC’s “Modern Family” star Ariel Winter are coming to East Tennessee.
The two will be filming a movie, “Dog Years” in Knoxville starting in June.

The film will be produced by Goron Whitener and Neil Mandt and directed by Adam Rifkin. Rifkin wrote the script as well. Visit Knoxville is working with the three to find locations, crew, talent office space and hotels.
According to Visit Knoxville, the film will employ more than 100 people. “This feature film is great for our state as well as Knoxville. TEC’s partnership to help this project come to fruition was instrumental,” says Visit Knoxville President Kim Bumpas.
The film is looking for actors, locations and vendors. To find out more information on casting calls or provide location information email “dogyearsmovie@gmail.com.”
