Police say Tyler Enix and Kimberly Enix were estranged.

“I sense maybe they had some kind of disagreement as far as fighting over the child and maybe that’s what this stems from,” said Brewer.

Brewer is a dad himself to an 11-year-old girl. He says he has a message for Enix.

“Just please bring your little girl to safety whether it’s a relative. Anything you got to do to get her to the right place, please, please, do,” said Brewer.

He even posted on Enix’s Facebook page.

“If I can do anything to help him or that little girl out, then that’s what I’m here for,” said Enix.

Another friend who worked with Enix at one point said he was nice and never had any problems with him. The friend said he also reached out to Enix on Facebook, but hasn’t heard back either.

Knoxville Police hold a press briefing urging Tyler Enix to bring Brooklynne to a safe place.
