Bristol could soon make feeding ducks, geese illegal

BRISTOL, VA. (WJHL) — A first reading will be held on July 9 that could make it illegal to feed waterfowl within the city of Bristol, Virginia.

If approved, violators would be fined $50, but only if signs prohibiting feeding are posted.

Domestic ducks and geese are included in this proposed law change.

If approved on first reading, a second reading would be needed before it is adopted.
