WASHINGTON, D.C. (WATE) – Aaron Rice and Collin Harven were in Washington D.C. for the “March for Life” when the snow started falling.

Hours and hours of continuous snow later a record-breaking 17 inches fell in the D.C. area. The two Morristown men were couldn’t leave the townhouse they were staying in.

Aaron and Collin said they drove up Wednesday from Tennessee with no problem. They said their plan was to travel home Sunday, but they had to delay travel until Monday.

“We’re going to see how the roads look in the morning because D.C. officials are working on this. We’ve seen them out all night,” said Aaron.
