A 20-foot deep sink hole along Tri State Lime Road in Sullivan County was being filled with concrete Wednesday afternoon.

The Sullivan County Highway Department said the hole was found around 2 p.m. Wednesday. By 4 p.m. a concrete truck had arrived and its operator began pouring concrete into the hole.

After the ground fell away, a water pipe was exposed. Sullivan County Highway workers were monitoring the sink hole until it was filled.
