Bond set at $250K for accused Kingsport dentist office shooting suspect Harry Weaver

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) - The bond for a man accused of shooting and killing his wife and endangering others at a dentist office has been set to $250,000. 

63-year-old Harry C. Weaver Jr. has been charged with first-degree murder and three counts of aggravated assault.  

His next hearing is set for March 7 at 1:00 p.m. in Kingsport. 

Weaver is accused of shooting and killing his wife, 53-year-old Kelly Weaver, at Dr. David Guy Dentistry, where she worked on Feb. 13. Harry Weaver is a former maintenance worker at the same office. 

Weaver was shot and detained until law enforcement could arrest him by a Tennessee Carry Permit holder who was patient receiving a cleaning at the time of the shooting.

Weaver was booked into the Sullivan County Jail in Blountville on Sunday afternoon after being released from the hospital.

His next hearing is set for March 7 at 1:00 p.m. in Kingsport.
