TDH: Three new COVID-19 deaths in NETN; 277 new cases reported

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Department of Health reported 277 new COVID-19 cases and three new deaths in Northeast Tennessee.

One death was reported in each of the following counties: Johnson County, Unicoi County and Washington County.

Of the new cases, 100 were reported in Sullivan County, 77 in Washington County, 26 in Greene County, 26 in Unicoi County, 22 in Hawkins County, 21 in Carter County, and five in Johnson County.

There are currently 2,568 active cases in Northeast Tennessee, up by one from 2,567 on Friday.
