TDH: 30,951 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Department of Health reported 30,951 confirmed cases and 209 probable cases of COVID-19 in the state on Monday, an increase of 728 total cases since Sunday.

The department also said there have been 462 confirmed deaths, 2,106 hospitalizations, and 20,062 recoveries. More than 629,000 coronavirus tests have been administered.

On Sunday, TDH reported 30,225 confirmed cases and 454 confirmed deaths.

One new case was reported in Johnson County.

There are now 23 active cases in Northeast Tennessee based on TDH data, down from 30 cases on Sunday.

Greene — 53 cases / 2 deaths / 51 recoveries
Hawkins — 34 cases / 2 deaths / 32 recoveries

Sullivan — 70 cases / 2 deaths / 65 recoveries
Unicoi — 53 cases / 50 recoveries
Washington — 90 cases / 77 recoveries
