TDH: 21,306 cases of COVID-19 in Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Department of Health on Wednesday reported 21,306 cases of COVID-19 in Tennessee, an increase of 341 cases since Tuesday.

The department also said there have been 353 deaths, 1,647 hospitalizations, and 13,916 recoveries. More than 409,000 coronavirus tests have been administered.

On Tuesday, TDH reported 20,965 cases and 343 deaths.

One new case was reported in Greene County while two fewer cases were reported in Sullivan County. Sullivan County also logged one new recovery.

The number of active cases in northeast Tennessee remains unchanged at 13.

In total, there have been 251 cases, seven deaths, and 231 recoveries in northeast Tennessee so far.

Carter – 19 cases / 1 death / 17 recovered
Greene – 48 cases / 2 deaths / 44 recovered
Hawkins – 31 cases / 2 deaths / 29 recovered
Johnson – 15 cases / 15 recovered
Sullivan – 60 cases / 2 deaths / 56 recovered
Unicoi – 3 cases / 3 recovered
Washington – 75 cases / 67 recovered
