TDH: 208 new COVID-19 cases in Northeast Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Department of Health reported 245,904 confirmed cases and 14,768 probable cases of COVID-19 in the state on Saturday.

The health department also announced 3,165 confirmed deaths, 1,399 current hospitalizations, and 231,887 recovered or inactive cases. More than 3.6 million coronavirus tests have been logged.

Two new deaths due to COVID-19 were reported by the Tennessee Department of Health on Saturday: one in Sullivan County and one in Washington County.

TDH reported 208 new cases locally: 63 in Washington County, 42 in Sullivan County, 40 in Greene County, 24 in Carter County, 17 in Unicoi County, 13 in Hawkins County and nine in Johnson County.
