TDH: 20,607 cases of COVID-19 in Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) —The Tennessee Department of Health reported 20,607 cases of COVID-19 in Tennessee on Monday, an increase of 462 cases since Sunday.

The department also said there have been 338 deaths, 1,594 hospitalizations, and 13,073 recoveries. More than 396,000 coronavirus tests have been administered.

On Sunday, TDH reported 20,145 cases and 336 deaths.

No new cases, deaths, or recoveries were reported in our area. The active case count for northeast Tennessee remains at 13.

Carter – 19 cases / 1 death / 17 recovered
Greene – 47 cases / 2 deaths / 44 recovered
Hawkins – 31 cases / 2 deaths / 29 recovered
Johnson – 15 cases / 15 recovered
Sullivan – 61 cases / 2 deaths / 55 recovered
Unicoi – 3 cases / 3 recovered
Washington – 73 cases / 66 recovered
