TDH: 18,378 cases of COVID-19 in Tennessee, no active cases in several local counties

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Department of Health reported 18,378 cases of COVID-19 in the state on Tuesday, an increase of 367 cases since Monday.

The department also said there have been 305 deaths, 1,498 hospitalizations, and 10,969 recoveries. More than 346,000 coronavirus tests have been administered.

On Monday, TDH reported 18,011 cases and 301 deaths.

Four new cases were reported in Washington County. There are now 13 active cases in northeast Tennessee, but currently no active cases in Greene, Hawkins, Johnson, and Unicoi counties based on health department data.

The following data was reported for local counties:

Carter – 19 cases / 1 death / 17 recovered
Greene – 46 cases / 2 deaths / 44 recovered
Hawkins – 31 cases / 2 deaths / 29 recovered
Johnson – 15 cases / 15 recovered
Sullivan – 57 cases / 2 deaths / 51 recovered
Unicoi – 3 cases / 3 recovered
Washington – 70 cases / 62 recovered
