TDH: 18,011 cases of COVID-19 in Tennessee, no new local cases

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Department of Health reported 18,011 cases of COVID-19 in the state on Monday, an increase of 623 cases since Sunday.

The department also reported 301 deaths, 1,489 hospitalizations, and 9,886 recoveries. More than 337,000 coronavirus tests have been administered.

On Sunday, TDH reported 17,388 cases and 298 deaths.

No new cases were reported in our area. There are now 29 active cases in northeast Tennessee.

Carter – 19 cases / 1 death / 15 recovered
Greene – 46 cases / 2 deaths / 41 recovered
Hawkins – 31 cases / 2 deaths / 28 recovered
Johnson – 15 cases / 5 recovered
Sullivan – 57 cases / 2 deaths / 51 recovered
Unicoi – 3 cases / 2 recovered
Washington – 66 cases / 59 recovered
