TDH: 271 new COVID-19 cases in Northeast Tennessee; two new deaths

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Department of Health reported 231,171 confirmed cases and 12,916 probable cases of COVID-19 in the state on Saturday.

The health department also announced 2,944 confirmed deaths and 1,247 current hospitalizations due to COVID-19.

On Friday, TDH reported 228,930 confirmed cases and 2,923 confirmed deaths.

TDH reported 271 total new COVID-19 cases in Northeast Tennessee Saturday, with two new deaths reported: one in Hawkins County and one in Washington County.
