TDH: 156 new COVID-19 cases in Northeast Tennessee, 6 new deaths

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Department of Health reported 156 new COVID-19 cases, six new deaths, and 138 new inactive/recovered cases in Northeast Tennessee.

COVID-19 in Tennessee

The Tennessee Department of Health reported 3,182 new cases statewide, bringing the state’s total to 742,213 cases.

The health department also reported 58 new deaths, bringing the state’s total to 10,463 deaths.

The health department reported 1,369 current COVID-19 hospitalizations in the state, down 52 from yesterday.

Health officials have reported 703,426 recoveries in Tennessee since the pandemic began.
