Luke’s Pizza in Johnson City temporarily closes after employee tests positive for COVID-19

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – A local pizzeria has closed temporarily after learning an employee tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Luke’s Pizza posted on Monday, saying the restaurant learned on Sunday of the positive result.

The employee is doing well, according to the post.

Luke’s Pizza says they will be temporarily shut down and following guidelines from the regional health department.
