Eight new COVID-19 deaths reported in NETN on Wednesday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Tennessee Department of Health reported 355 new COVID-19 cases, eight new deaths, and 381 new inactive or recovered cases in Northeast Tennessee on Wednesday.

Five new deaths were reported in Washington County and three new deaths were reported in Sullivan County, but two previously reported deaths were removed from Carter County’s total.

There are currently 2,637 active cases in Northeast Tennessee, down from 2,669 yesterday.
