Rogersville City School to remain virtual through January 18

ROGERSVILLE, Tenn. (WJHL) – Rogersville City School announced it will remain on a virtual schedule through January 18 as 2021 looms closer.

According to a post from RCS, the school will update parents to any schedule changes.

At the beginning of December, RCS announced the school would remain virtual until after the Christmas holidays.

Unicoi County Schools to continue virtual learning through Feb. 5

ERWIN, Tenn. (WJHL) — Unicoi County Schools announced Thursday night that it will stick with virtual learning through Feb. 5.

School leaders had hoped to return to in-person learning on Jan. 19 when they decided last month to remain virtual.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) - State lawmakers anticipate discussing topics such as student learning loss and teacher pay at next week's special legislative session on education. The special session was called by Governor Bill Lee and begins Jan. 19th.
