BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) — Bristol, Virginia Public Schools will continue virtual learning until Jan. 25.
The Bristol, Virginia Board of Education met Monday evening to discuss whether to return to in-person learning or continue virtual learning.
The school system returned to virtual learning back on Dec. 14.
The board also discussed plans pertaining to the new elementary school’s construction and location.
Several options currently sit on the table: reconstructing Washington Lee Elementary School or Van Pelt, Tenneva property, Bob Morrison Boulevard site and a location at the permanently closed Ball Corporation.
