VDH: Washington County reports 9 new COVID-19 cases, statewide total up to 125,703 confirmed cases

RICHMOND, Va. (WJHL)- The Virginia Department of Health reported 125,703 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the state on Friday.

VDH said there have been 2,578 confirmed coronavirus-related deaths across the state along with 133 probable COVID-19 deaths.

Note: VDH does not report whether cases are active or recovered.County and community case totals can include active, recovered, confirmed and probable cases.

Bristol, Va. – 153 cases / 8 hospitalizations/ 2 deaths (2 new cases)

Buchanan County – 107 cases / 6 hospitalizations/ 2 deaths (2 new cases)

Dickenson County – 76 cases / 7 hospitalizations/ 1 death (1 new case)

Lee County – 244 cases / 21 hospitalizations/ 4 deaths (6 new cases)

Norton – 32 cases / 3 hospitalizations (1 new case)

Russell County – 207 cases / 21 hospitalizations / 4 deaths (4 new cases)

Scott County – 172 cases / 14 hospitalizations / 4 deaths (2 new cases)

Smyth County – 366 cases / 32 hospitalizations / 6 deaths (7 new cases)

Tazewell County – 227 cases / 15 hospitalizations/ 2 deaths (4 new cases)

Washington County, Va. – 442 cases / 42 hospitalizations / 10 deaths (9 news cases)

Wise County – 373 cases / 32 hospitalizations / 5 deaths (2 new cases)
