Ty joined News Channel 11 as a Social Media Web Producer in January 2022. Before joining WJHL, Ty started his journalism career editing & contributing to numerous online websites. He later served as a reporter for local print companies, covering news & athletics.
A native of Tennessee, Ty earned a bachelor’s degree at East Tennessee State University where he reported for the school’s newspaper.
When he’s not working, Ty enjoys taking his miniature dachshund on walks & cheering on the Florida Gators.
