Murry joined News Channel 11 as a Digital Content Producer in May 2019. He worked as a part of the morning crew, bringing breaking news and stories to the Tri-Cities. In 2021, he moved into the role of Digital Executive Producer.
Murry was raised in Lebanon, Tennessee and received a bachelor’s degree in English from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee. While in college, Murry began his career in journalism as a Freelance Sportswriter for The Jackson Sun. He later joined WBBJ-TV in Jackson as a Web Editor.
In his free time, Murry enjoys sitting in his rocking chair, fishing, reading, watching Tennessee Volunteer sports, and spending time with his wife and their four pets.
