Kelly Grosfield is a Weekend Evening Anchor/ Reporter for WJHL News Channel 11.
Kelly comes to the Tri-Cities from our Nexstar sister-station WMBB in Panama City, Florida.
She was born in the Sunshine State and grew up in Ft. Lauderdale. Kelly joined the team at WMBB News 13 in May of 2017 after graduating from the University of Florida.
While at WMBB, Kelly covered big stories such as the impact of Hurricane Michael on the Florida Panhandle, President Trump’s visit to Panama City Beach, and an active shooter situation in the heart of downtown Panam City.
Kelly has a particular interest in covering crime and courts and that interest led her to host a free legal talk show called “Lawcall” for two years, that aired every Sunday night.
She’s excited to be apart of the team here in the Tri-Cities and can’t wait to tell your stories.
If you see Kelly out on a story, feel free to yell “Go Gators,” although she knows she probably won’t ever hear that in Volunteer territory.
If you have a story idea, you can email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
