Hello! I am WJHL’s weeknight reporter. I am a native Missourian, having lived in the St. Louis area and St. Joseph for my entire life until leaving for Tennessee.
WJHL is my first job out of college at the University of Missouri. I majored in Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcast Anchoring and Reporting. During my time at the university, I worked at their television station, KOMU 8. That’s where I learned all the skills you’ll see me utilize on our newscasts. Although I’m in Vol country, I’ll still keep rooting for my Tigers in the SEC East.
In my free time, I enjoy playing drums, hiking in the Appalachians, and seeing what the Tri-Cities has to offer.
In my time here, I have begun to love this area of the country. You can’t beat the beautiful scenery and great people. I look forward to you seeing me tell the stories that matter across the Tri-Cities. You can see me weeknights on News Channel 11 at 11 p.m!
If you have story ideas, feel free to give me a call at (314) 799-5580 or email me at jjenco@wjhl.com.
