Jessica switched to broadcast journalism from print journalism in January 2019 by joining the team at WJHL as a digital journalist.
She is a Blountville native who graduated from East Tennessee State University with her mass communications degree in 2014. She began reporting for the Johnson City Press six months later, covering everything from crime to education over four years.
When she’s not reporting and writing content for WJHL’s website, you can find her snuggled up with the latest fantasy novel, trying to sew costumes or playing tabletop games with her friends.
