Chris began his full-time career in the News Department at WJHL in 1988 after having worked part-time in the Production Department.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Management from ETSU in 1988 as well.
While in the news Department Chris was a Photographer, Chief Photographer, a Reporter, and fill-in Sports Anchor. Chris has earned several Associated Press Awards for News and Sports Photography over the years, and was named best TV Reporter by the Tennessee Associated Press in 2014.
In December of 2014, Chris was named the Co-Host of Daytime Tri-Cities, and is in his 4th year as the Co-Host of Daytime!
Chris is married to Tammy, and they have two sons Connor and Cooper. Chris enjoys golf, fishing, and spending time with his family!
