Anslee Daniel joined the News Channel 11 team in 2019 after graduating from the University of Tennessee- Knoxville, where she studied journalism and electronic media along with political science and leadership studies.
Although she’s originally from the Metro-Atlanta area, Anslee calls East Tennessee “home” and is excited to continue to tell the stories of its people.
Anslee started as the nightside reporter and transitioned to anchoring the weekend morning newscasts in May of 2021. She now anchors the 4 and 7/7:30 p.m. newscasts Monday through Friday.
She has covered every topic in the region from government meetings, elections, breaking news, and even the Budweiser Clydesdales visit. However, she is known for her work on the Evelyn Boswell Case and Summer Wells AMBER Alert.
Anslee is an alumna of the Delta Gamma Fraternity and serves on the board of the Tri-Cities Alumnae Chapter. When she is not reporting, you can find her spending time with her mini-Goldendoodle, Aspen, exploring the shops and outdoors of the area, or listening to Dolly Parton.
