Despite the scattered showers, a persistent downslope wind will help dry the air temporarily this afternoon and evening, allowing some dry time in the Tri-Cities, while areas to our west and south remain more consistently wet. In addition to the rain, a wind Advisory is in effect for the Tri-Cities through the day, while a High Wind Warning is in effect for the Blue Ridge Mountains, with strong wind gusts over 50 to 60 mph. Temperatures will be mild in the mid 60's Tri-Cities, 50's in the mountains. Our wet weather continues Tuesday, with lingering showers possible Wednesday. Don't expect to see much sunshine until late in the week and into the weekend.
