Mark's Weather Blog: Patchy Frost Tonight - Rain Friday - Cold Saturday with Rain and Snow

Good evening.  We had a beautiful afternoon with full sunshine.  Temperatures were a bit cooler today.

Temperatures will stay cool into early next week.

We could see a possible frost and freeze by Sunday morning.

Rain chances will increase tomorrow afternoon through Saturday.

We start Friday with some sunshine before the clouds and rain move in.

Scattered showers will be possible by Noon.

Showers will be common late in the day.

Low pressure will increase our rain chances Friday night into Saturday.

Snow will move across parts of Kentucky Saturday morning while a cold rain fall across much of the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas.

There will be a possible snowfall accumulation of 3 to maybe as much as 6 inches across parts of Kentucky on Saturday.

Parts of southeast Virginia could also see some snow Saturday afternoon.

The system will move out of the region Saturday night.

Here is a look at the potential rainfall for Friday into Saturday.
