OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. - Two teenagers are both behind bars and could be facing years in prison following an armed robbery attempt and a shooting.

17-year-old Octavis Robinson, of Central, was originally charged Saturday morning with one count of involuntary manslaughter after a man was found lying on the ground with a gunshot wound according to Oconee County reports.

Now Robinson's charge of involuntary manslaughter has been upgraded to murder/attempted murder. Authorities have named Tavis Campbell as Robinson's accomplice and say that both teens are facing attempted armed robbery charges and having a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Oconee County Coroner, Karl Addis, identified the victim as 21-year-old Rashean Parker, of North Carolina. The morning of the shooting Parker was transported to Oconee Medical Center, where he later died.

Oconee County Sheriff's Public Information Officer, Jimmy Watt, stated that investigators believe Robinson was attempting to rob Parker when he drove off. At that time, records indicate that Robinson started to discharge his weapon in the direction of the vehicle, hitting Parker in the backside.

An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday.
