SULLIVAN COUNTY, TN (WJHL) - A Sullivan County boy is recovering after heart and lung transplant surgery in Pennsylvania.

On Thursday, doctors gave Weston Keeton the new organs which, just hours earlier, were donated by a family who lost their loved one.

Friday, Weston's family told News Channel 11 that the 7 year old is doing well and is in stable condition at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

"When he was so sick, we just didn't think that he was going to make it to this Christmas let alone this Christmas be the one where he got his miracle," said Julie Keeton, Weston's mom.

On the "Praying for Weston" Facebook page, Julie called the transplant the family's "Miracle on 34th Street" because that's the name of the street on which the Children's Hospital is located.
