GREENEVILLE, TN -
Deliberations will continue tomorrow morning for a doctor accused of giving his patients unapproved cancer drugs.
Dr. A.k. Sen and his wife Patricia are accused of  buying 3 million dollars worth of unapproved, misbranded cancer drugs --which were given to patients at East Tennessee Cancer and Blood Center in Greeneville.
Earlier this month Dr. Sen and his wife  rejected a plea agreement and decided to face the charges against them in court.
The jury will now deliberate on 83 counts.
News channel 11 caught up briefly today with Dr. Sen and his attorney.
Attorney Ed Yarbrough told us that he has full confidence in the jury and he didn't feel confident commenting beyond that.

Again jury deliberations resume at 9 tomorrow morning in Greeneville.

Jury deliberations are underway in Federal Court in the trial of an area cancer doctor and his wife.

Dr. A.K. Sen and his wife Patricia rejected a plea agreement earlier this month and opted to face the charges against them in court.

A Federal Grand Jury previously indicted the couple on 38 counts back in June. The indictment accused the couple of buying $3 million worth of unapproved, misbranded cancer drugs beginning in 2009, which were then distributed to patients at East Tennessee Cancer and Blood Center in Greeneville.

The jury began deliberations this morning. Prosecutors say in all they have 83 counts to decide on.
