WASHINGTON COUNTY, TN (WJHL) -

News Channel 11 has learned the names of the two people who were involved in the fiery fatal car accident on Knob Creek Boat Dock Road in Washington County, TN.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says Bounleua Sonekeo, 38, and Misty Dawn Sonekeo, 36, died Monday morning.

However it is not known if Misty Dawn died as a result of the accident or as a result of events leading up to the accident.

Investigators said there were several wounds found on her body, including a stab wound in her upper torso. Officers found a knife in the couple’s home and other details – blood and a house in disarray. It's believed that Misty may have been stabbed with a steak knife or a kitchen knife of some sort.

Investigators say they were able to identify Bounleua from the contents in his wallet. Misty was identified by the tattoos on her body.

Officials hope an autopsy report will reveal whether or not Misty died as a result of the accident.

News Channel 11 will have more on this developing story beginning on the news at 5:00 p.m.

Possible domestic disturbance before fiery fatal crash

Two people are dead after a single-car crash in Washington County, Tennessee.

A Mitsubishi Eclipse wrecked around 10 Monday morning on Knob Creek Dock Road right off Bristol Highway.

Investigators are now saying there may be more to the crash.

Washington County Sheriff's Office Captain Sean Judy said another investigation is being conducted surrounding the wreck, a possible domestic disturbance involving the two victims.

Captain  Judy told News Channel 11 investigators tracked the car involved in the crash back to a home.

When investigators took a look at the house, they said they found blood inside, and Captain Judy said they uncovered sings of a possible domestic dispute.

He said the house is just a couple of miles from the  crash scene.

According to officers on the scene, the car veered off the road, into a wooded area and then burst in to flames.

"It went boom, and then a couple minutes later boom again," Teresa Webb said. Webb lives down the street from the crash scene. "I called 911. It exploded. If we could of helped we would've but it was already engulfed in flames."

"When we got here the car was on fire, it had flipped off the road," Washington County Sheriff Ed Graybeal said.

The car was coming down the hill from Austin Springs road on Knob Creek Dock Road going toward the Bristol Highway.

"There was no brake marks no skid marks no anything. So they just went right straight off the road and hit a tree and turned upside down and caught on fire" Graybeal said.

He said this road is no stranger to crashes.

"This part here with the bridge has a lot of wrecks because usually in the winter time its slick. When it's raining let alone when it's snowing," Graybeal said.

Teresa Webb told us she's seen two serious crashes in the past few years right in front of her house.

"They fly up in down here they don't go the speed limit," Webb said.

The investigation into the Monday morning crash continues, and as this point, investigators do not know if speed played a role in the wreck.

The medical examiner will perform autopsies to determine the exact cause of death and possibly uncover more information about what led up to the crash.

It's not known at this time if the domestic disturbance is related to this accident.

The 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse was engulfed in flames when emergency crews arrived on the scene. Investigators do not know what caused the crash, but they say the car veered off the road, ran into the trees, flipped and immediately burst into flames.
