Arrest made in September pharmacy robbery in Bristol

BRISTOL, VA (WJHL) -
A Washington County, Virginia man is charged with armed robbery after police say he held up the Rite-Aid Pharmacy in Bristol Virginia on September 8th.

Police say Phillip Kevin Capps, 26, gave the pharmacist a note saying he was armed and wanted prescription narcotics.

The robbery happened just after 10 a.m. at the store at the intersection of Euclid and Commonwealth Avenues.

Capps is in the Bristol Virginia Jail without bond.
