CARTER COUNTY, TN (WJHL) -

Just around the lunch hour Wednesday, Tennessee Highway Patrol was called to a single-vehicle accident in Carter County.

The motorcycle crash happened on Highway 321 around 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Fish Springs Road.

The driver, 60-year-old James Scalf, of Johnson City suffered a minor injury.

THP said Scalf was traveling south on Highway 321 on his 2012 Honda GL8 motorcycle, when he attemped to negotiate a curve. Scalf traveled on loose gravel and lost control of his bike.
