Missing Piney Flats man found in Maury County, TN

PINEY FLATS, TN (WJHL) -

The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday night that Mr. Emery had been found in Maury County, TN.   A spokesman said he was "unharmed", but no other information was revealed.

 



 

The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office needs your help locating a man who was reported missing after he did not show up for work Monday evening.

Investigators say Leonard Emery was last seen at his home on Nelson Avenue in Piney Flats on Monday around 9:30 a.m.

According to his wife, he was supposed to be at work in Spring City, TN at 6:00 Monday evening, but he never showed up.

A co-worker checked the couple's second home on Moon Lane in Spring City, but he was not there.

It's believed that he did not take his cell phone with him.

Emery is said to drive a blue 2005 Ford Ranger pickup with a white camper top. A sticker on the truck says "N1PG".

Emery is described as 64 years of age, standing around 5'10" and weighing about 230 pounds. He is said to be bald and have a red mustache.
