UPDATE: Single-vehicle wreck kills man in Norton, VA

NORTON, VA (WJHL) -

A man is dead after his vehicle overturned in Norton, Va.

The Norton Police Department confirms John Quentin Jones, 34, lost control of his Chevrolet Blazer on Dorchester Road just after noon. According to officers, Jones overcorrected his vehicle and it flipped over.

Police said the man's body went to the medical examiner's office.

Officers told News Channel 11 Jones wasn't wearing his seat belt, and they said that could  have made a difference.

According to police, there was nothing to indicate drugs or alcohol were factors in the wreck.
