Marijuana found growing near a Greene County barn

Third Judicial District Drug Task Force agents credit a tip for helping them find a marijuana grow site in Greene County on Thursday.

Agents and Greene County Sheriff's Deputies found five large marijuana plants growing near a barn on Barren Valley Road in Chuckey.

Inside the barn, officers say they  found a single marijuana plant hanging up to dry, as well as items used to harvest the plants. 

The investigation is ongoing. Charges are expected.
