Roanoke Police make meth bust in Southeast

ROANOKE, VA -

The Roanoke City Police Department says its officers made a meth bust in Southeast early Thursday.

According to Captain Monti Lee, the bust took place at 4:45 a.m. in the 800 block of Elm Avenue SE.

During the search, officers say they found a "one-pot" type of meth making device, along with items that can be used in the manufacturing of meth.

State Police helped with clean-up and disposal of the hazardous item.

No charges have been filed as of Friday morning, and the investigation is ongoing.  Charges are pending.
