The pilot of a small plane that landed upside down in his yard is still recovering from injuries he sustained in the crash landing. The crash happened around 4:30 yesterday afternoon just off Oakland Road in Limestone.  The pilot, 71 year old James Leroy Braddock and a passenger were the only ones on board when the plane went down.   The passenger was not injured and told News Channel 11 that Braddock often used his yard as a runway and landing strip.  The passenger says that yesterday's rough weather was not a factor in the crash, but the result of a bumpy landing.

The National Transportation Safety Board is supposed to investigate the scene today.  We'll have an update on News Channel 11 starting at 5.
