JONESBOROUGH, TN (WJHL) -

Three teenage girls now face charges for making a bomb threat.

The Washington County, TN Sheriff's Office says deputies arrested and charged three Daniel Boone High School students with Filing a False Report and Vandalism.

Authorities say the bomb threat was discovered on a bathroom wall on Tuesday, April 23 around 9:30 a.m.

Sheriff Ed Graybeal says the threat was discovered by another student. The school evacuated students and staff, while sheriff's deputies and school security searched the school.

The three females are currently being housed in the Washington County/Johnson City Regional Juvenile Detention Center and are scheduled to appear in court Friday morning.
