The Bristol, Tennessee Police Department tells News Channel 11 that today's shooting on Kentucky Avenue was ruled a suicide.

A shooting investigation is underway in Bristol, Tennessee.

Bristol, Tennessee dispatchers couldn't give News Channel 11 many details, but they say the shooting happened on Kentucky Avenue today.

    The American Red Cross says 32 homes were destroyed in a severe weather outbreak that hit East Tennessee last Sunday.The National Weather Service said two EF-1 tornadoes hit Washington and Sullivan Counties. An EF-3 tornado hit Claiborne County.The damage total also includes Johnson County in Northeast Tennessee as well as Anderson, Campbell, Knox, Jefferson, Union, and Sevier Counties.
