Peter's Hollow Egg Fight

The 189th annual Peter's Hollow Egg Fight is scheduled for Easter Sunday, March 31st at 1:00 pm.

The tradition began when farmers from Roan Hollow challenged the farmers from Peter's Hollow, to see whose chickens could lay the hardest eggs.

Here's how it works: you tap your egg on each side of the person's egg next to yours. You stay in the competition as long as your eggs haven't cracked.

You'll find the fight in the big field at 347 Peters Hollow Road in the Stoney Creek Community of Carter County.
