Wise, VA -

A Wise County Woman won $250,000 from a Virginia Lottery scratch ticket.

Amy Payne was very surprised when she saw those numbers on a "Big Winning Numbers" ticket.

According to the Virginia Lottery, Payne and her husband were in their car when they stopped in the middle of the road to make sure the ticket wasn't fooling them. Payne told Lottery officials, "I nearly had a heart attack."

Payne's husband purchased the ticket at the Scotchman on West Main Street in Appalachia. The couple just became new parents and Payne says that at this time she and her husband have not decided what to do with the prize money.

The total prize value of a Big Winning Numbers ticket ranges from $5 to the grand prize of $250,000. The Virginia Lottery says three more top prize winning tickets are still unclaimed.
